"but we let 'em off the hook"! Unless The Assistant shared it with you, I'm probably not who you thought I was. But if you want to PM me, I'll be happy to tell you who I am.
nope as long as you're not a banned member there is no need to divulge your true identity here. If you are a banned member (Seacoastdad I know u are not) true colors will be shown and things will be decided then ;-). As long as you speak clearly, sanely and respectively there is no need to give your true name.

I need to take my Londonderry pick back - reports are that is not going well for them.
But, I'm really enjoying the Memorial stock I got off GNG REAL cheap for my BG Stock

Spaulding beat BG by 2 in OT.
Should be interesting to get GNG's take from "Disfunction Junction."

Pelham upset in back to back games, against St. Thomas. Any one know what's happened the past few nights?

I can't guarantee clear and sane, but you'll definitely get respectful!
I went to the H/B - Portsmouth girls game tonight. Hollis/Brookline won the battle of the unbeatens 60-45. H/B jumped out to a quick 11-2 lead and was never really threatened. H/B increased their lead to over 20 early in the third quarter, and Portsmouth could never get closer than 11 the rest of the way.
I didn't get a program, but numbers 3, 23 and 33 all played well for H/B, and Markey Flewelling and Devon Parker were solid for Portsmouth.

Re: Friday the 13th games......
Memorial beat South. I would call this an upset just above mild, but below major.

If you read my picks, T&F you wouldn't call it an upset

Re: Friday the 13th games......
Final Pinkerton 48 Londonderry 45
Early reports had pinky decimating Londonderry - so the 2nd half must have shown that Londonderry has some moxie.
(Yes, T&F I was wrong on this pick.... my percentages were off)

Tully, just because you picked Memorial correctly, that doesn't mean it's not an upset for Memorial to beat South. You have done very good with your picks tonight. One (or many) would say you know something about HS basketball.

Re: Friday the 13th games......
Every thing West does for the rest of the season will be interesting. BG is in the same interesting club.
GNG is texting me back and forth with BG - Spaulding updates. He makes me think he's at Disfunction Junction (BG's gym), when in actuality, he was at the 99 celebrating a friend's 50th birthday.
It makes sense because GNG is after all a Friday the 13th baby.

Let me tell you this about that
sold all my BG stock. Yes I took a bath.
These kids learned absolutely nothing from last years kids. Show me 1 leader.
HEART, something that is sorely missing.
2-4 in a down year.
OUCH.

underachieving is another word
that would describe the current editionof the GREEN AND GOLD.
THEY CURRENTLY RESIDE IN 15TH PLACE IN THE STANDINGS.
The bright spot is they can't fall much farther in the standings.
Twelve games left....
epic turnaround...
never know, but I think getting to .500 should be the goal in the next few weeks.

Re: Friday the 13th games......
Went to the South Memorial game, South played a 2-3 zone through 3 quarters and Memorial did as well. It was a sloppy boring game. Memorial only had 9 guys dress and no one in shirt tie on the bench anyone know what happened.
South played with out Jack Preston .
South went Man with 1 minute left in the third and the intensity of the game pick up and South had their chances to get with in one possession missed some ft and have two consecutive turnovers by Tarvez down 4 with a minute left. Mucciloli was playing well but he did not real touch the ball in the last 3 minutes.

If they weren't dressed on the bench, I would guess the stomach flu nailing the area!

Re: Friday the 13th games......
Regardless of where BG finishes - as long as they make the tourney would you want to see them in the playoffs? Let's face it they "can" be a dangerous team. Although yesterday was a bit better than the last two I watched, it was still frustrating to see the ball thrown away so many times after getting a turnover. Whether it was an ill advised full court pass, an outlet pass behind your teammate, or a few times a tough to handle dish on a drive. BG had the ball with under a minute to go tied at 49, but rather than milk time off the clock and work for the last shot, the first open look that presented itself was taken and the shot missed. Jimmy was furious and I don't blame him. Still another opportunity arose when they got the ball back, took a timeout to set up a play. The play appeared to be a swing to the far side and a lob pass attempt for JoeMac cutting backdoor. Unfortunately the pass was a little high and even worse, no one was behind Joe to grab any errant pass. Both teams had 2 attempts inside the final minute to score and both failed, although Spaulding's second attempt was more a bad pass to the corner on a drive-n-dish. BG got the ball back with 1.8 left and after a timeout missed a 3/4 length shot. The ball was on line and tickled the twine at the bottom of the net.
Give Spaulding credit - they are a good team - tough to face. They still like the 3's too much and that could doom them later on. Live and die by the 3's. They like the 1-4 offensive set look with a lot of kickbacks to the corner or wing outside the 3pt arc. When BG shot, they would leak one of their guards and look for the fast break. They caught BG napping or too deep a few times early in the game. Defensively they went zone in the 2nd half and BG wasn't always patient enough or just didn't move the ball fast enough to the weak side. A few cross zone/court passes were way too soft allowing for recovery. When BG got a 8-10 point lead in the 2nd period it was because BG was running and filling the lane while Spaulding was playing more man.

Re: Friday the 13th games......
My game source stated that BG turned the ball over at least 20 times if not more. Not going to win many games if you don't take care of the rock.
