So how is this site going to handle the blog talk about the Rivier/Memorial league? Coach M has made it clear that he does not want any coverage from Jeremy or any other site for that matter. Will there be any issues with post about the league or is there plans to not allow post about the league on this site?

Is the league open to the public? There's your answer. As long as we talk about the basketball being played I think it would be against our freedom of speech rights if we didnt talk about it.

Public forum...public hoops league...let's not make a big deal about this.

Another thing - this forum should never be confused with "media". Its just a bunch of wahoo's (myself included) who like talking NH HS sports. We don't "report" or "cover" anything here. Its just the public's observations and opinions. Done tastefully, there's no harm in that.

And this coach (whom I don't know) has not told me such information. I mean cmon, this is a fall league we're talking here, there's not going to be that much to extract from these games anyway. Everybody knows their rosters filled with JV and Freshman team players and each week is a different starting lineup based on who shows up. Half the team is probably playing another sport or involved in other activities in the off-season. I've been there, I've coached these leagues, it's just about as bad as fielding a team for a summer league.
