Alvirne scored 49 in the first half and ran away with it vs. Winnacunnet...I tweeted this earlier...but this is pretty much par for the course for a Bronco squad....it's playoff time - time to turn it on.

Seeds 1-12 are set. The Dover/Exeter result will determine the 13 through 16 seeds.

I just heard it will be #7 Merrimack vs #10 BG in a prelim game. I'm sure Migs is ecstatic over this development.

Floras was out tonight with the bum ankle, but I'm sure it was just precautionary to give him rest for the playoffs. That could mean choppy waters for the SS Guertin.

I might be starting to feel the upset of the prelim games:

#14 Londonderry over #3 North !!!!

Alvirne hosting South in the 8 v 9 game should be a tight pick em game.

Trinity will have all they can handle with either South or Alvirne in the quarterfinal game at Trinity.

If the seeds hold out and Salem hosts Merrimack in the 2 v 7 game, well, that'll be an all out war.

As a #6, Spaulding has a draw they could get to UNH with- they've beat #11 West already, split with #3 North, and beat #2 Salem...

Justin, Spaulding does look good as the #6 seed in their bracket, but darn the quarterfinal home game unless........ My Lancers upset North and Spaulding beats West, then I ride a Londonderry horse into Rochester to root for the Lancers against your Red Raiders.

GNG would be in back of my horse to catch the droppings.

This scenario for the quarterfinals would be EPIC.

Ben Slepian had 32 points in the Salem victory over BG.

Matt Barr had 36 in the Exeter OT loss to Dover.

Well, there are late bloomers in life, as far as Slepian goes. One has to look no further than GNG to see a classic case of a "Late Bloomer."

It's a great example of why coaches put Juniors on JV. It's not a slight to the player, most times the situation dictates the need for playing time - anticipating a productive Senior year. Sitting on the varsity bench does the player no good. Glad to see Slepian having success.
