Re: March 3rd Games
Alvirne over Dover 70-67 in a game Dover led much of. Up in Dover as well. Good quality win for the Broncs (that's 3 of their last 4 - 2 of which were "quality" wins vs. Dover and Spaulding).
Coach Garon's team needed this one to go into the finale vs. Winny with a chance to get back to .500. I spoke to Garon last week and he said he'd be happy at 9-9 with the way his season has gone. Sitting at 9-9 it would enable them a likely matchup with Londonderry (would be a fun game to watch with the student sections) down 102 given that Pinky has a tough matchup with Trinity tomorrow night.

No Score but
I am told that Lebanon beat Souhegan tonight by 2. Still trying to get more information from a source.

Where would that put them?
Chikid If my thoughts are correct that would put them on the bottom half of the draw with Pembroke and Pelham?

Souhegan tonight and Wednesday
Souhegan played without Gilligan tonight but rumor has it he will be there for Wednesdays rematch. That is right Souhegan goes back to Lebanon as a 10 seed. That has got to sting with the start they had. It also puts Milford playing Laconia in round one and if they win that they will get the winner of Coe Brown and Bedford. My guess is Bedford will win that game forcing a intriguing match up in round two.

Souhegan will get the 10 seed. Them Coe-brown, and Bedford all tied at 12-6. CB has more points the both Souhegan and Bedford giving CB the 8 and Bedford beat Souhegan twice giving them the 9 leaving Souhegan with the 10 and on the bottom half of the bracket with Pembroke and Pelham. Crazy that 12-6 is a 10 seed.

Re: March 3rd Games
Actually Portsmouth and Pelham played and Portsmouth won. So Pelham will be on Milfords side at the 4 and Portsmouth the 3 will be on the Pembroke, Souhegan side obivously among other teams.

Re: March 3rd Games
Looking at the bracket (if I did the tiebreakers correctly) there are a lot of great games (almost all of them) We could see a few "upsets". One comes to mind right away Oyster River Goffstown. Oyster River at 12!! Wow, hard to say that'd even be an upset but it would be a 12 over a 5 if it were to happen.

I take Goffstown in this
I will take Goffstown on this. I think the bigs for Oyster River will run out of gas and Goffstown will shoot lights out at home. My upset will be Souhegan over Lebanon. Gilligan will give them a lift and they will get a close win. Interesting matchup in the second round if that happens. Pembroke and Souhegan could be a shocker as well. This is a very tough game to call also.

Lol I wasn't saying OR would win just saying potential, still unsure on who I'd pick. Leb Souhegan game is probably the game to go to if you're willing to drive out there. Again not really sure who'd I'd pick in that game but certainly will be different with Gilligan playing. No matter who wins that match-up the next round with Pembroke will be a great one. Leb has beat Pembroke very early in the season at Pembroke, Souhegan Pembroke would also be a great one like you said.

Re: March 3rd Games
Here I am getting all psyched about the D2 talk with the prelim matchups, potential quarterfinal matchups and the always present drama from the Town of Milford, when I realize there are so many darn conflicts with other playoff games in other divisions that I might have to wait until the D2 Semis to catch some action.

Agreed, but the bottom half is no joke, Pembroke, Portsmouth, Souhegan, Leb, Hanover. Great Bracket Overall, only 2 teams below .500, 2 teams at .500 the rest are at least 4 games over .500

OR already waxed Goffstown by 23 once this year (albeit at OR). I don't think ORHS minds getting Goffstown in round 1, and I'm calling for the upset in that one.
/Seacoast bias
Also I think Milford easily comes out of their side of the bracket, and any team from this 5...
Pembroke
Lebanon
Souhegan
Portsmouth
Hanover
....could come out of the bottom. Hell, John Stark will be a tough round 1 game for Portsmouth. This thing is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide open.
