How much trouble would it be when you walk into a ballpark to have the home team's roster and the visiting team's roster? They do it in football, they do it in basketball. It would be so much easier when watching a game to actually know a kid's name or what year he is in. I am going to talk to Tojo about that if he is at the game tonight. The parents at BG have a hard enough time telling our own kids apart, never mine the opposition.

Congratulations on 2 things, GNG.
1) For admitting I'm right.
2) For posting the most words on a topic heading in the history of the NH Sports Forum.

This appears to be something that not only fans - but the media is a bit disgruntled over. Several people I follow on Twitter have openly complained of this problem. From my time at Alvirne coaching hoops, I remember the Boosters were in charge of supplying the programs (I may be wrong). Reporters usually result to asking around teh stands and sidelines for players names etc. Wow.

In High School they have the Yearbook Club, the Math Club, the Spirit Club etc etc. It would be nice if some of these high schools had the sports roster and program club. Maybe Tully could get a movement going to institute this new club/organization in NH high schools.
True story: Back in the 80s they had Gun Clubs in some high schools. I'm serious. GNG will vouch for me. When I gave him his senior yearbook from Memorial last year they had a picture of the Memorial High gun club in the early 80s. The yearbook picture had members of the club holding guns proudly in a Memorial class room.
My, how times have changed. It was SO INNOCENT back in the 1980s !!
Next basketball season I will make a concerted effort to get rosters from some basketball teams posted on the Forum right at the start of the season with names, height, grades the players are in and their numbers.

North rolls over Alvirne 11-1, and in the shocker of the day Timberlane wrestles away a victory from Central 5-3.
