All State Announcements
Does anyone know when the All State Announcements are announced? I was told that it was something that would come out this weekend. Is this true?

Re: All State Announcements
I just noticed that Alex Stoyle of Goffstown was voted to 1st team all state by the NHBCO last season.
Now, Mr Leveille, if you remember in one of our half asleep respectful arguments we had this past week that we talked about the Stoyle 1st team selection. I put Stoyle on my 1st team at the conclusion of the season and received some grief because he was a player on a team that didn't make the playoffs. The grief turned to an underground swelling of support which culminated in Mr. Stoyle OFFICIALLY being on 1st Team All State last season. I just wanted to give Jeremy some good natured blogging ribbing.
Now, Jeremy, about my theory "killer points" that lead to victories in Class L basketball games...............

You know Jeremy, The Hawk
Back a while ago Andre Dawson of the Chicago Cubs won the MVP award for the Chicago Cubs. The Cubbies as they are known from my neck of the woods finished dead last that season. Now I know that is baseball but baseball has more players and there is actually less team work involved. So Jeremy do you the the major league baseball writers got that one incorrect as well?

Just curious? Is there a difference in
Just curious, Is there a difference in second guessing the process of refereeing vs the voting for All State and POY? I mean aren't we questioning authority in both cases?
Jeremy, Maybe he turned a 20 win team into a 80 win team? Wouldn't that be of value?

I respectfully want to
I respectfully want to apologize for anything I have done in the past. lol
Here are the numbers. Chicago Cubs were 76- 85 the year that Dawson won the MVP. They had a rain out game that year that the major league did not have them make up is the reason why they only played 161 games instead of the 162 game season. Dawson won the MVP and they were the last place team.
So to me how a team finishes doesn't always mean they do not have the best player that season.

Re: All State Announcements
80 wins in MLB is a .500 team. Plus I'm pretty sure back then the MLB season was 154 games
Back then,, that is funnny back then
I am 34 years old and I remember that season wow.
They havw played 162 games since 1962
