Girl's JV Tournament at Central

The girl's JV Tournament starts this weekend at Central. Coach Wenners and his girl's coaching staff does an outstanding job of running this tournament every year.

Sat. Feb 25th:

Game 1 - Dover vs Nashua North 3:30 pm

Game 2 - Memorial v. Trinity 5:00 pm

Sun Feb. 26th:

Game 3 - Bedford v. Goffstown 1:00 pm

Game 4 - Londonderry v. winner Game 1 2:30 pm

Game 5 - Central v. BG 4:00 pm

Game 6 - Winny v. winner of Game 2 5:30 pm


Monday Feb. 27th

Game 7 - Winner Game 5 v. Winner of Game 6 5:00 pm

Game 8 - Winner Game 3 v. Winner of Game 4 6:30 pm

Tuesday Feb. 28th

Game 9 - Winner of Game 8 v. Winner of Game 7 6:30 pm

Nashua North and Trinity won on Saturday.

Sunday's schedule:

1:00 pm Goffstown v Bedford

2:30 pm Lond v. Nashua North

4:00 pm Central v. BG

5:30 pm Winny v. Trinity

Bedford and Londonderry won by decent margins.

BG beat Central by 2.

Winny beat Trinity by 2 in double OT.


Semis on Monday:

5:00 pm BG v. Winny

6:30 pm Bedford v. Londonderry


Last Tuesday BG and Winny played a double OT game.

Winny beat BG 41 to 39.

Londonderry beat Bedford 52 to 37.

On Tuesday at 6:30 pm it will be Winny and Londonderry for the championship.

Londonderry beat Winny by about 10 to capture the Central JV Tournament title.

The game was extremely well played. With just over 2 minutes left in the game Winny hit a shot to come within 41 to 38. I believe Londonderry went on a 7 - 0 run to close out the game.

Kudos goes to the Central girl's coaching staff for putting on an excellent tournament. Coach Mike, Coach Kim and Coach Kara did a great job to make the JV teams feel like they were part of something special, which they were.
