Milford Back to Back Increases Tourism
Today I received a text from a local Manchester area resident with a picture of a local eatery and a follow up picture of the Milford High School sign. Seems Milfords varsity success is bringing the locals south to the great city of Milford to try to touch the greatness of the basketball area. Money normally spent in Manchester was brought to the town of Milford via the boys basketball program. lol

Re: Milford Back to Back Increases Tourism
Nice of you to think Milford winning back to back titles was the reason for my trip to Milford last night, but it was 3 other reasons:
1) The movie "Rabbit Hole."
2) The Pasta Loft restaurant.
3) Nicole Kidman - I would follow her to the ends of the earth, even to a town like Milford.
It is true I decided to swing by Milford High to see if they were still partying after back to backs. What's up with the 85 year old lady charging $5 to take a picture of the Milford High sign? She said this HS was now sacred basketball ground in NH and you have to pay for the pleasure. I hate it when entities go Hollywood.
The Pasta Loft was good. Asked 3 people there if they knew of the Mitchell's of Milford to which all 3 replied, "Who?"
Rabbit Hole was good, but not great. 3 to 4 very powerful scenes in the movie.
Diane Wiest deserved a supporting actress nomination and Nicole Kidman for a best actress nomination as well.
Best message I did receive from a famous basketball resident of Milford after sending out pix messages proving I was perusing the Town of Milford:
"Get Out of My Town."

Re: Milford Back to Back Increases Tourism
BTW - When we approached Milford High Mrs T & F said:
"So, this is the place where all the Hub Bub took place this season."
I'm sure "Hub Bub" could be taken many ways, but for some one who doesn't follow HS hoops too closely, like Mrs T & F, I thought it was an apt description of a lot of things that transpired at Milford High over the last 4 months.
