Thursday night hoops... NICE! Tonight us D2 guys get a chance to look at some D1 players for a change. Always a good thing to have something to do on a Thursday. Any of you D1 guys want to tell me what ti expect?

If I am playing Merrimack I do everything to take Floras out of the game,box and 1,double team,whatever,he doesn't beat me.I don't feel they have enough offensive weapons to beat you if you do that.
If I am playing Londonderry,I stop Mansfield.The kid is a load down low,and he is unselfish.He kicks it out to Colby for open threes.
Both teams don't go to the bench for major minutes, so 4th quarter they both could be a little gassed.Big game for both teams.Londonderry knocked them out last year,so I am sure coach goody will using the revenge angle. I like the Londonderry coach,when BG played them he used his timeouts wisely,whenever BG was going on a run.

Memories of the devasting Lancer playoff knock out will be as fresh for the Tomohawks as my last meeting with GNG.

T@F know what is fresh in my mind? How early this season you were in love with West. They played Spaulding last night {you remember who told you they were for real before the season started.}Spaulding 63 West 35.Enough said.

I wouldn't read too much into that score...West lost to Londonderry last Thursday by 30 as well. Not taking anything away from Spaulding and Londonderry because they are both good teams, but West was playing much better earlier in the season and are certainly much better than their recent showings. Looks like they have hit the proverbial "wall" in terms of effort / energy...hopefully they will be able to turn it around and salvage what's left of the season.

There must be a lot of dead horses on GNG's property because.....

Wow, GNG is testy today. You must have gained 5 pounds at your recent weigh in and Mrs GNG has the key to unlock the fridge at GNG Street.

Just so I don't get a rash of emails saying I hold a double standard - GNG & T&F are joking with each other.

It would have to be a Forum newbie who doesn't know most times T & F is the toungue and GNG is the cheek.

BG hoops does a once a month pot luck,everyone brings something.Backroom chicken fingers,luisa's calzones,etc..,then the adults are going out,{monday's a holiday} like it would matter if it wasn't. Then THE JADE is having their new years eve party.{invite only}.They close the doors at 9 to the public,and the party starts.Everything and anything is free{my favorite word}.Card games ,dancing the whole shabang.By the way my chinese friends tell me it is the year of the rabbit.

After reading your food, dancing and party post once again I say:

GO BG GO BG GO BG !!!!!

It does seem like you are taking a lot of days off from your diet lately, GNG.

How many days off are you allowed compared to how many days off you take from the diet?

when I am bad like tues nite,I work out like a demon the next day,its a trick I learned from Jeremy Shockey.250 by fourth of july is my goal.Lose a little every week.I am sure once hoops is done it will come off quicker cuz no more crazy tuesday and friday late nights.Although some of the baseball parents are also lunatics.

Seems like there are a lot of partiers amongst the BG faithful. As long as they light the candles, put offerings in the offertory basket and silently confess their weekly sins on Sunday, I have no problem with the BG faithful partying 2, 3 or 4 times a week. I believe there are many passages of celebrating life with many gallons of wine in the bible. I just don't know if the writers of the bible knew there would ever be places like The Flats or The Jade for the Catholics at BG.

You only go around once,nothing wrong with a little fun.

Getting away from the religious theme.... I have to gear up for the BG run in the playoffs. You have to hook me up with a nice BG basketball shirt (ahem XL) so I can show my BG pride at the courts and the drinking establishments.

What say you GNG?

A Milford basketball shirt would look real nice on T & F's chest during the month of March also ( XL).

Chant of the night, "go home mignault" by the merrimack fans.That is 4 games that I know of that Migs has watched Merrimack.Something tells me he might have a plan to stop Dimitri.T@F,to add fuel to the fire sunday night a well known local Merrimack personality{and jade regular} passed away yesterday.{a blessing he was real sick}.This gentleman would go to 1 hs school game a year,{when migs got the bg gig}.Yep Merrimack- BG and he would sit behind the BG bench to show his support.They are having his wake and small service at rivets Sunday night,right before the jade bash.Oh my god,something tells me that I might see the sun come up at the jade monday morning.{Bill would have wanted us to}.

I was there and looked for you with no success.

I should have went,we had some college stuff we had to do.The Merrimack boys who play at BG were laughing when they heard about the migs chant.They all stayed and watched the BG girls game.Just as well they are persona non grata at Merrimack.I wonder what the bigger rivalry is Milford- Souhegan, BG- Merrimack,Trinity - Memorial,Memorial -Central,or Central -Trinity?My vote goes to BG-Merrimack.
