I'll take Pelham a little higher, they've earned it, at least a spot over Salem. Tough to argue his top 7.

Tough break for Central losing Stisser for the rest of the year.Their bench is going to have to step it up the rest of the year.

2/15 NHSportsPage Power Rankings Empty Stisser and McCallum

Post  chicagokid43 Tue Feb 15, 2011 1:45 pm

You have to feel bad for the guys like McCallum and Stisser. Both lost pretty much their two final seasons to injury and that is a tough break. Thankfully McCallum did enough over the Spring and Summer to convince Colby Sawyer that even after the knee injury he will be able to compete at the next level. Real quality decision by that program to be quick to let him know their interest had not changed after the injury. I know that had to help soften the blow some in the days after the injury.
Hopefully Stisser gets a chance if he desires to continue to compete as well.

also have to be looking at Pelham coach as a runaway coach of the year in D2 with Mulvey another easy pick.

2/15 NHSportsPage Power Rankings Empty Alosa as well

Post  chicagokid43 Tue Feb 15, 2011 2:47 pm

I think you can throw Alosa in there as well. I mean his team is still one of the youngest in the top 4-5 teams in D2. Can Murray be talked about? He did weather a bad injury to a starter and then lose a 6th man in Philbrick for some time. Sometimes keeping a team that feels like they should win every game focused can be tough as well. This year is a tough choice for COY. POY is tough as well. Spirou has had an incredible season. Mike O has come on as of late but Jamie Holder has to be in the mix as well. He carried Milford for a span also and continues to put up 20 a game while defending the other teams key guy and rebounding to boot. I have not seen much or Pembroke this year but the numbers Welch is putting up are very impressive. Walker from Oyster River has had a nice season as well. Many players have had nice seasons... Tough making that call this year as well.
