Alvirne went 1-21 in the third in that game. Tough to win even at home shooting 5% from the floor for an entire quarter. They still only lost by 12.

I wasn't at the Trinity - Dover game, Tully, but for him to score 13 points against a tough hard nosed Romps' coached Green Wave defense...... well, I would say Zach's knee is responding nicely.

You know what's funny? With the top 2 games in D1, Trinity-Dover and BG-Central, you had quite an effervescent presence in the 4 coaching boxes:

Keefe, Migs, Doc and Romps.

What ever work was done by the custodians at Trinity and BG with regards to the coaching boxes went all for naught as the custodians will have to revarnish the coaching boxes this weekend.

West beat Winny by 3, 55-52.
A back and forth battle all night, with West led by soph Jaques and Winny led by Munson.
West took the lead in the 3rd by 9-11 points, but Winny came back in the 4th, with a chance to tie it at the buzzer.
Munson had monster game for Winny, but West seemed to have more athletic basketball players to balance the scoring

Sports Animal, Refs usually tell the players at the Captain's meeting to play basketball, but if they don't then the game will turn into a foul calling procession. Sounds like the captains didn't relay the message to their team mates from the refs at the captain's meeting

This game had the NHIAA head of refs, and another ref. The official scorekeeper, who's been keeping the book since before Brett Favre was faking injuries for sympathy, said the other guy loved to blow the whistle. He was not mistaken. ;-)

Goffstown was welcomed to D2 by COnval on Friday. Conval a team that has struggled of late in D2 was no match for Goffstown. 102 to 65 was the final...
