Wow, I just checked out the stats from the Lady Crusader's BIG victory over the previously undefeated Londonderry team and Memorial went 22 for 25 from the FT line. That is incredible. Elozovic and Gendron combined for 33 of the 53 points for Memorial. These 2 are definitely one of the top 1-2 combos in D1 girls. This was definitely a landmark victory for the Lady Crusaders. If I recall Memorial didn't even come close when they played Londonderry in summer and fall leagues. Aside from the physical joy of getting the victory you can't under estimate the mental side of securing this victory for the Memorial girl's. It's one thing to think you can play with the big girls and it's another thing to know you can play with the big girls. They now have 2 tough road games coming up next at South and Trinity.

It will be interesting to see if they suffer "Let Down-itis" in either of these games.
