Ugly First Half on Senior Night in Milford, numerous turnovers for both teams. HB started off pounding the ball on the first drive of the game tried play action and got picked off. Next play Milford proceeded to fumble the ball. Milford got back OL/DL Belantoni but Forte is still out, and Albina who got hurt last week also was out. HB just came out in various different I formations, but tried pounding the ball and had some success. For Milford it was the Max Goudreau show in the first half he was setting up the score with long run after long run and punched one in himself. Milford went into half up 21-6 with HB's lone score coming from a Liamos run I believe could be wrong though. Milford's other two score came on a boot from QB Bud Theriault, and there #3 RB Matty Scott also punched one in from about 5-7 yards out.

HB opened up with an onside kick and recovered. Continued to try and pound the ball, went Play action and got picked by Max Goudreau, but as he was returning it he started to lose control of the ball and began to juggle it at 1 point he had it pinned against his back, but as he tried to re-gain full control he ended up fumbling it he more than likely would've scored on the pick had he not lost control. HB took over continued to pound the ball and scored from about 15 yards out, then converted on the 2 pt conversion I believe to make it 21-14. Just as HB looked to be making it interesting on the ensuing kickoff Max Goudreau found the seam then hit the side line and was off to the races, and not many people can catch him as he's one of the fastest kids in the state. At 28-14 now it felt like Milford was going to run away with it. But then Goudreau came up hurt, and did not see much from him for the rest of the game. Milford's offense struggled after that not being able to move the ball, but give credit to HB's defense they were pretty solid and other than Goudreau's big play's they stopped Milford for the most part. HB would put in another on the ground (don't know many kids on there team and couldn't tell if it was Liamos or not) It was now 28-20 Milford and with Milford's continued struggles to find offense it now looked like HB might have a chance to come in and knock off Milford on Senior night to get there a win, but Milford's D would shut down HB for the last few minutes of the game and came away with the win.
