Boys' JV Tournament at West High 2015

Here is the schedule for the JV Tournament starting this weekend at West High. The 2 pm play-in game between Spaulding and Dover is the only game of the tournament not being played at West. It will be played at Central.


Some interesting notes: 2 additional teams have been added this year to bring the total to 18 teams competing. Portsmouth is in the tournament this year and is the #8 seed. Bedford is competing for the first time in tournament history and they are the #1 seed. You have the Colin Burke (Best asst coach in Granite State) connection with Bedford. Coach Burke started this tournament 22 years ago.


Maybe, if Bedford Varsity hosts a prelim game next week, the Bedford basketball management can change the word volunteer after Mr Burke's name to asst coach in their nice game night program at the admission table. Volunteers sell tickets and popcorn, mop the floor and sharpen pencils. Asst coaches give valuable pearls of wisdom to their head coach from December to March.....

12:30 pm #10 Alvirne v #2 BG

2:00 pm #5 Memorial v #4 Exeter

3:30 pm #18 North v #9 Pinkerton


The semis will be played at 6:00 and 7:30 pm tonight.

All 4 quarterfinal games were close. Winny, Alvirne, Memorial and North advanced.

The 2 semi-final games were close and well played.


North and Alvirne will meet for the Championship today at 4:30 pm at West.
