DID it Count?

Post  chicagokid43 on Fri Feb 11, 2011 5:20 am

My son and I were in hot debate tonight about the record breaking three that Ray Allen hit tonight. Here you go Mr T and F.... Did he travel on the play before the shot? I am sure you can catch the shot on Sportscenter. Right foot lands, left foot lands, right foot comes forward into the shot... travel?

They changed the travel rule in the NBA last year - you now get an extra step anyway. Could you imagine the sstorm if an official waves that off due to a travel especially considering all the other traveling that takes place in the NBA game. It'd be like calling a hand-checking in the NBA

It's the NBA, all basketball "rules" go out the window. Especially the "travel" call.

The NBA is an athletic contest that is entertaining as opposed to basketball.
