Upset in D2

Not sure if anyone has followed the Conval team as of late but many may have heard of the incident via the news. Last night after a weekend and early week of controversy the Conval boys basketball team pulled a upset beating Kearsarge in Peterborough last night. Conval who going into last night was 2-10 with wins over Keene (3 season wins) and Sanborn (still winless). Kearsarge was at 7-7 but have played some very good D2 teams tough losing to Pembroke by only 5 and Goffstown over the weekend by 9. You have to be happy for a team that had been through a real intense week and so much turmoil. I am sure some smiles came back last night with the win. Let's hope the rest of the season gets better for these kids so the seniors can walk away with something good in their memory banks and the returning guys can turn a page and feel good coming back next year.

well said, and nice post - ConVal coach is a good guy, and the kids play hard. The big fella should get at least some all state consideration.
