Brewster Academy is National Prep Champions
Brewster Academy from Wolfeboro, NH beat Northfield Mount Hermon for the National Prep Championship tonight, more details when I can find them, I do know they won via a Brewster Assistant Coach!

#1 Hargrave Military Academy (VA) v. #8 Tilton (NH)
#4 Notre Dame Prep (MA) v. #5 Northfield Mount Herman (MA)
#3 Winchendon (MA) v. #6 St. Thomas More (CT)
#2 Brewster (NH) v. #7 Westwind (AZ)
Brewster entered the National Tournament ranked #2. The beat Westwind, AZ on Tuesday in the first round. They then defeated St. Thomas More ( ) Wednesday morning after watching Northfield Mount Herman upset #1 Hargrave. Brewster then played Northfield Mount Herman in the championship game at 7:30.
NMH came out shooting the ball very well taking a 32-15 lead with 7 minutes to go in the first half, however Brewster was able to cut the lead to 4 before going into the half down 7. Within 2 minutes of the second half Brewster took the lead. They battled back and forth over the remaining half, until Brewster took a 7 point lead with about 3 minutes to go, however NMH hit a few huge shots. With the game tied Brewster had the ball with the chance to win it, but missed at the buzzer. In overtime, Brewster was able to extend the lead to 6, but could not put NMH away. With Brewster up 79-76, NMH had the ball out of bounds with 2.5 seconds on the sideline and was unable to connect on a desperation 3. Will Barton (Memphis) was named tournament MVP.

Thanks bobcat welcome to the forum, highlights are great. Congrats to Brewster! Is there anything left on the basketball front this year for BA? If not, how does next season look?

Naadir Tharpe (2011) has committed to play for Providence
Melvin Ejim (2010), an Iowa State commit and 2 year player at Brewster was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for NH.
William Barton (2010), a Memphis commit will be playing in the Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden on April 17, and was also named to the US Global Team.

Hey Bobcat who you have coming in next year to replace the big names you lost to college? How are you chances looking this coming year?

Tough to say. How does a team improve on a National Championship. Just hoping that we can continue to compete at a high level in the best conference in the country on a night in/night out basis. Guess we will find out in November....

Sorry to but in but I read this today.
JaKarr Sampson of St. Vincent-St. Mary visited Brewster (N.H.) Academy on Sunday and is considering spending his senior year there.
He is a nice player with some very good offers already. Would be a nice addition to the roster.
