Dec. 18th games Trinity vs Central

Amazingly, by the will of God, all 110,000 people who live in Manchester are in the Trinity gym tonight for the Central at Trinity game.

(unfortunately, I'm not in attendance)

With just over 2 minutes to go in the 1st period the game is tied at 13. The game has been stopped due to a very wet floor. Players are sliding like a bunch of seals on ice.

Wow, the game is on hold and both teams have gone to their respective locker rooms. I've been told they are going to wait 15 minutes and then possibly render a decision whether or not to play. Coaches, AD and refs are talking the situation over.

Wowsa Yowsa !!!!

2 observations:

1) If this game is postponed again we get closer to the potential 2nd matchup of Trinity v Central in the QCIBT semifinals without playing the first matchup.   

2) If it is postponed then try to schedule the game at SNHU in the near future on a night when no other teams are playing, so a great crowd can be present. Trinity gets a percentage of gate receipts and then give a percentage to Salvation Army, New Horizons etc etc.

One of MY people just told me the floor at Trinity is in TERRIBLE shape.            

Pete Tarrier just tweeted the Trinity student body is singing Silent Night while the wait continues.    

Game is officially cancelled.

Always seems like strange things happen at the McHugh gym. 2 years ago a transformer blew midway through the 3rd period of the Salem at Trinity game on a Friday. They played the last 12 minutes in 2 days on a Sunday afternoon. Salem won the game on a buzzer beater.

So, when they reschedule the game I presume they will pick the game up with just over 2 minutes left in the 1st period and the score tied at 13.

So appropriate the score was tied at Unlucky 13 when the game was stopped. It would've been complete if the game was last Friday on December 13th.

So, if they reschedule this game at Trinity, I'm wondering if they'll let every one in for free? After all, you had a lot of people who paid an admission charge and didn't see a game. Trinity gym holds what?? 500 to 600 people?? at 2 to 3 $/person that's a nice $1300 to $1600 garnering of American dollars.

Just saying....

Remember the Trinity Salem game when (I think) Carmen G puked... and then they lost power?

They cancelled and had the rescheduled game that weekend.... I bet they will follow the same practice regarding tickets and entrance.

Alas, I do not remember what that practice was....

Yes, I just posted about that unusual game between Salem and Trinity. You are right. Trinity did let anybody in for free that Sunday. There was only 12 minutes involved in that one. This game has just over 26 minutes left to play.

For those who like specifics:

Trinity 13 Central 13 with 2:13 left in the first quarter. It's Central ball after a made Trinity basket, so Central has the run of the baseline when they inbound the ball in the resumed game.
