BIG KUDOS FOR DAVE HALEY
To the new guy on the radio. Love him, I was up in Center Ossipee this morning and heard them clear as a bell on the fm station.
They will make a great pair. Dave knows hoops inside and out.
However I will ALWAYS remind him that his division 2 darkhorse for football this season was MERRIMACK.
Not for nothing but his partner has a mancrush on CENTRAL for some reason.

I agree. Dave was informative and entertaining today. Listening to Pete and Dave was like being in the same room having Pumpkinhead brews with them. Wait..... I think that's the reason Pete keeps Central in his Top 10..... He sips on a lot of Pumpkinheads while putting Central, yet again, in the Top 10

Nice props guys - its an evolving show that certainly has a different feel now. Special guest from what I hear for next Saturday you won't want to miss...I'll let Pete announce that
Re: BIG KUDOS FOR DAVE HALEY
I deserve all the grief you can lay on me about Merrimack...the coach and I played phone tag in the pre-season & the Irish guilt must have crept in while making my picks. I'll admit it that one was terrible...
Thank you very much GNG & T & F, I really appreciate that & I'm sure there are going to be mentions to both of you ( I could do a ten minute skit on GNG and his 'sources tell me..'..stories) when we get rolling into basketball season. I'm excited to get on the air with the coaches I'm speaking with all year long.

Starting to ask the tough questions.
I love it.
Great 2 hours with the coach.
Gotta admire him for trying to stick up for the Merrimack coach.
He has lost way more players to BG then Merrimack.
Merrimack was loaded with talent 3 seasons ago. He just didn't have them playing in the correct positions. EVERYBODY who follows football in this town knows that. EVERYBODY.

I was back in town all of 5 minutes and got the story.
So it will take THE TELEGRAPGH what a month, before they report anything more about this.
MY SOURCES TOLD ME {Dave Haley that's for you} the story. My sources made me promise not to repeat it on this forum.
Tom King, Fitzy, and Joe M. I am calling you out to get this story. It's not that difficult.
On a side note. Turkey Day with the Cuipa's in NJ was awesome. Great friends, great game{for us anyway}, lotta laughs, and a wee bit to drink.
Next year we {cuips too} are spending Turkey Day in VEGAS for my son's 21st birthday. Clark Griswold has nothing on me.
On a side side note. I heard Pete Tarrier is putting Central number one in next years football power poll.

Re: BIG KUDOS FOR DAVE HALEY
It will be interesting to see if any body in the "generic" media finds any thing about this situation or if they even decide to report it because we are in a totally new political world these days where we can't hurt people's feelings and we have to protect every thing and every one's checking account should be a dollar or two away from every one else's and every player gets a participation certificate.
I mean it's been 2 years since the departure of ToJo and the "generic" media still has not reported the why, where and how of his departure from BG.
Pete is going to have Central #1 in his pre season power poll for 2013?
That would get discussion of high school football going in fine fashion next late August/early September.

Week 2 and still no mention
of my poy candidate Lunn. I believe he is averging 20 points and 15 boards thru 3 games.
For that matter no mention of BG.
It's ok laying in the weeds.

I agree with you that Lunn is a nice player and that BG is 3-0.
Time is the true judge. BG had a nice win over Bedford I agree, but the last two wins I wouldn't boast about. Let's see after the first, when the real challenges will be laid in front of the Cardinals.
As far as Lunn being POY. It is still early. I like Preston the guard at south. What could hurt Lunn is that as they play the better teams, they will pack a zone against Lunn and neutralize him.
With questionable outside shooting and no frontcourt to get him the ball, you have taken out of the game.
I think that maybe the best way to solve this debate is a lenghty discussion in your corporate box at the Jade?????
BUt then again what do I know about basketball.

I think you will find Dover is going to be a good team.
They gave Central quite a game at Central.
Any win in d1 is a good win. South struggled against Keene. Memorial struggled against Timby. Bg squeaked one out against Exeter.
As far as playing a zone against BG. Bedford tried that. They got some kids who can knock down the three ball.
At any rate should be a fun season with all the parity.
