Souhegan's next coach.
It will be interesting to see who replaces a coaching legend.
They probably don't want to go the route BG did. They are JAT now. {just another team}.
I hear they also need an AD .
Hey, I know a guy from Amherst who is an unbelievable football coach, and is also an athletic director. He took his alma mater from doormat to dynasty and then got the boot.
I would replace a legend with a legend. That's how I roll.
Then I would replace the Merrimack- Souhegan football Thanksgiving Day travesity with BG - Souhegan. Now that would be a football game. Tojo with a chance to stick it to Brother Marc every Turkey day. Stranger things have happened.

Because we didn't have enough ToJo threads already.......
Some of you guys need to move on. He's not coming back!

I know tht you bleed green and gold but you need to move on in your life.I know you believe that he is coming back, but saying it a thousand times dos not mean that it will occur.
I thinbk that there is a higher probability of me going to the Jade and not finding you there on a a free buffet night.

People are more interested in Souhegan's next coach
Then prep school hoops.
IF he comes back I will make sure I remember who will owe me a big apology.

I know you are dying to hear about prep players commitments.

Re: Souhegan's next coach.
I believe GNG once told me that when any discussion of prep hoops comes up he uses that time to check all the toilet paper dispensers in his house to make sure none of them need to be refilled.

Re: Souhegan's next coach.
Would it surprise anyone if this is also the last game for the Merrimack head coach?
Merrimack fans get to see what kind of new AD they have.
The old AD Kraeling made some HORRIBLE hires in his tenure at Merrimack.
None worse then this.

I can relate...do the same thing every time I have to read another ToJo thread...but hey...if that's what you guys want to talk about, by all means, ToJo away.
Re: Souhegan's next coach.
If you look at any thread that involves ToJo, I believe you'll find the number of comments and views far exceed the comments and views on the majority of any threads in that subject matter classification.
It could be time to stop talking about ToJo, but then again.........

Whatever floats the NHSF commenter boat...he doesn't even coach in our State anymore right? Right...that ship has sailed. And lets be honest, between GNG, T&F, JAF and a few other regulars, you guys are the only ones talking about it and giving the topics inflated comment totals.

I agree that the ToJo ship has sailed....As good as he was it's time to move on fellas......
A couple question I have always wondered about.......
Can a great coach win without good players?....... My answer woul be no
Can a great group of players win without a good coach?......My answer would be no
So just remember when talking about ToJo and believe me I think he was/is a great coach.....if he doesn't have the horses and we all know he had the horses (GNG and JAF can surely attest to that......right?) he doesn't win all those Championships.
So as much as ToJo gets the credit..... if it wasn't for the commitment (both in season and off season) by the players and execution of the plays by the players on the field we would not be talking about ToJo 2 YEARS after departing BG....

Eliot, I think you'll have to add yourself to that list now too especially since you brought it up in yet another thread
I said a while back to GNG to move on regarding on the return. GNG wants retribution - kind of an unchristian-like comment/feeling, but whatever. The whole situation left bad feelings all around because let's face it - we really don't have the truth, just a bunch of hearsay and finger pointing over the most recent event. People speaking out against Tojo inevitably ends with a visit from the secret service
