Congratulation to all the players. Portsmouth NO PLAYERS? Things that make you go huh!

I agree. I watched D3 intently this season, and the fact that Souhegan gets THREE players (almost unheard of) and neither Portsmouth nor Goffstown get any is beyond me. How could Bill Lane not be selected? Also, I can say without hesitation that 2 of the 3 Souhegan kids selected were far from the best at their positions within the division, let a lone across the state. Now granted, I understand the HC is the Souhegan guy and he probably wanted to have a group of his kids around...but still...you have to figure that Bill Lane as a WR is better than Tim Beliveau. Just a thought...

Other things that make you go "hmmm":

Bedford gets Jordan Garron as a LB, a position that he lined up at maybe 30% of the time (and didn't play there at all at the end of the season) and certainly wasn't an impactful player there to begin with.

Milford gets an offensive lineman, but Hollis-Brookline, who easily had the best OL unit in the division (and 4 of those kids were senior I think), gets none.

I think there's an easy answer to your questions... Can you say better competition in the "in state" game rather than the VT game? I realize one is played June 23rd and the other Aug 4th, but if you were a player and had to choose one, which would you choose?

There are a few that are playing both, but if you're not a player that will be playing college football, then if you had to choose one...
