D1 vs D2 All Star games? D3 vs D4?

So does anyone know if the NHIAA is doing the All Star games like they have in the past? I have not heard anything about them at all. They are normally the day after the D3/D4 championship games. Anyone?

2pm D4 vs. D3 boys
4pm D1 vs. D2 girls
6pm D1 vs D2 boys
All games at NHTI in Concord. In addition, All State teams, Mr. and Miss NH Basketball winners to be announced.

NHBCO needs to do a better job getting the word out about these games. With the NH vs. VT Rotary game on the shelf this year, this is the last chance for Seniors to shine....

Coaches were notified on 3/13. Players should have been notified shortly thereafter.

You would think NHBCO would put some information on this game on their website, including rosters. The game is only 4 days away, and no one knows about it, including many of the players that are supposed to be playing.

Heck, this was the first I found out about the game was through out Forum-ites. I know it's usually around the championship weekend, but until I see it advertised I don't know about it. If some one like me doesn't know about it then 90 - 95 % of the fans don't know about it either. Not exactly a good job of getting the word out in advance and promoting the players or the sport of HS basketball.

When you think of the players that could be invited and should be invited to this game in D1 and D2 boy's game, well,

it could be an Epic game.

Milford was notified and slips sent home today. Holder,O'Loughlin and Mitchell invited.

While like most years D1 has size over D2 this could be a great game with plenty of highlights and a pace that should be a lot of fun. Would be nice to see the entire rosters.

Is it Saturday yet?

Hey I can't find anything related to this team this season. Seen plenty on here from last year. What is the official title of this team? DI All-Stars? Are they Srs only? If that is the case I am already ready to start a debate. I agree that Mitchell, O'Loughlin, and Holder are deserving. But if this is Sr. only Milford should have 4. One thing about DII that is lacking is the true Big Man. There are very few true centers in DII. So I would say Kyle Nelson should be the Center on that team. Am I missing a better Senior center in DII? How many make this team? Just curious. Thanks for help.

I'd say Joey Mahar from Bedford I believe he's a senior, if so he'll likely be on the team, it's rare you see 3 from a team 4 is certainly a stretch. I'm drawing a blank right now but I do know other than Mahar there are a few, but certainly not a deep position in D2. I think 12 make the team/get selected, and it's all seniors at least I think that's how it works.

I know it's just an all-star game but figured I give and update anyway.

Last I heard D1 was up 74-64 at half.

Lol you're not joking. The combined totals of the final four games and the championship (d2) 252, all star game total was 262.

As a basketball aficionado I can say this for about the All Star game this year. Talent level and shooting ability was off the charts. By far the best of the group of about 6 games that I have seen. I know some will say that years like Tyler Roche's year and the year of the Trinity kids was very good but the game tonight had some of the best overall flow and play making from top to bottom in some time. You had Madol and Mike O'Loughlin trading playes, Connor Green hitting from somewhere off campus, Jamie Holder slashing and getting to the hoop, shooters all over from Green and McClung to Wageling and LeBlonde. Shots from everywhere on the floor, a pace that was quick without becoming sloppy and more passing than in many all star games. It was truly a joy to watch these seniors finish up their high school careers tonight. All of them seemed to really enjoy the game as well as playing with guys they usually bump heads with.
I did not film this game but if I did the highlight reel would have been simple... just press play!
