Tuesday 1/11 Game Thread - Page 3 Empty Re: Tuesday 1/11 Game Thread

I can't wait to see what the Queen City has to offer today with access ways, sidewalks and parking. There are so many streets in Manchester that are tough enough to negotiate on an 80 degree day in July.

I talked to some one with the Manchester School District and they are under even more pressure to call for a delayed opening than a snow day because when ever they do a delayed opening the verbal assault from parents that work is very high to get their children to school later in the morning.

Things could be worse. We could be in Boston. The day after Christmas storm produced some typical Boston antics. Believe it or not Boston now has an official Snow Patrol (No relation to the musical group) that enforces snow clearing issues on the streets of Boston. I believe they issued over 300 tickets Dec. 26th to 28th to people who shovelled or plowed THEIR snow into the streets owned by Boston. Tickets ranged from $100 to $300 depending on the severity of the snow clearing act.

Quite impressed you're familiar with the band "Snow Patrol". Also quite ridiculous that individuals were employed to enforce these "infractions".

Yeah, the best one I saw was a couple that cleared snow of their car into the street. The Snow Enforcement officer came down the street when they were just about done and handed them a $100 ticket. The couple was in total shock.

OMG, I just realized we could have a Social Perfect Storm tomorrow evening in Rochester. BG is making the road trip to play Spaulding at the RCC. You have the Travelin Wilbury-like (Asst Very Happy ) band of BG fathers making the road trip spearheaded by GNG. They will be going by the Riviera Motel, the Elks Lodge and other Rochester social-ite establishments.

I don't know if the Rochester police should be notified or Governor Lynch should just issue a State of Emergency for Rochester tomorrow night?

Well played T&F. My only question is GNG Lucky Wilbury or Nelson Wilbury? One thing is for certain, the threat level in Rochester should be raised to Orange. I actually think Spaulding has a very good Florida St.-esque shot at pulling an upset on their home floor, which is historically a very difficult place to play as we've discussed in the past.

do a little recon, find out what establishments we can and cannot get kicked out of{just kidding].I don't think it would be a gigantic upset if the red raiders win. They are a good team {in my top 6}.I think it will be a good early season litmus{word of the day} test for both teams.

It is nearly impossible to get kicked out of a Rochester bar, though I've come close a few times. I recommend Fat Tony's/The Draught Pick (great food at Fat Tony's) or Gary's Sports Bar, just up the road from the Rec Center on 125 (Spacious, and a lot of Rochester, um, "Atmosphere" ) Laughing

"It is nearly impossible to get kicked out of a Rochester bar"

I would think the above news is possibly the best news the BG fathers could receive for tomorrow's road trip.

Nice to know GNG has no legal skeletons in his closet. I can feel safe about my potential All-Access BG week the last week of January.
