1/19 games - Page 2 Empty Game Change was shot down by AD in Milford

Our coaches went to our AD Marc Maurais and he quickly shot the idea down based on the "Contract Rule" Basicly teams sign contracts when they agree on a date to play that cannot be avoided. I do not buy that,

That was anticipated, unfortunately for all parties.

What about petitioning up next year? IF Milford really wants to compete at a higher level, move em on up! Of course once you're up, you're up.

It's funny how the Central - Trinity game was changed with the venue a few years ago. I don't remember who the home team was, but the game was moved to SNHU. It was when the Fab Five was on Trinity. The SNHU gym was packed. Who ever the home team was made out with the $$$$ even though they had to pay SNHU to host. There were easily 600 to 700 more people that attended the game than would've been able to attend a sold out Central or Trinity gym. I know this is different than the proposed Milford - Trinity game, but it does show that sites can change for a game for a bigger crowd and bigger $$$$.

MIlford is currently looking at a live feed to the lunch room for overflow for the playoffs. Seems to me they missed that chance with the Souhegan game. Our ticket person or dorr lady told me they turned away 50 to 75 people that night. So using the 50 people times 3 bucks to get in, that is 150$

Lost funds.. can anyone say Pay Per View? lol

If the Milford lunch room serves teryaki steak tips or lobster fettuccine then I might watch the playoff game in the lunch room. Maybe Elishas could cater fot the evening.

What's the biggest gym closest to Milford?

The North gym would hold more people if they used the stands on both sides, but I'm sure North would charge a pretty penny or nickle to use the facility.
