Re: Fall League
Wow, looks like Clancy has joined the Circus
And to look ahead on Nov. 9th the semis and Ship will be:
@ Rivier:
8:30 am West/Lebanon winner vs Pembroke/Salem winner
9:30 am Merrimack/Lawrence winner vs Centrall/Bedford winner
10:30 am Ship
The Central - Bedford semi should be a good one. The West - Lebanon semi is intriguing.

Re: Fall League
Pembroke led most of the game, up by 15 at one point but Salem battled their way back the last three minutes of the game and eventually took the lead. With 4 seconds left Salem was up by 3 and Timbas was fouled, he made the first free throw then intentionally missed the second which bounced off the rim and was immediately put back in by Curran for the tie one second before the buzzer. PA ended up winning by 6 or 7

Refreshing to know that the NHIAA isn't the only organization that makes odd schedules...
The two teams coming from the furthest distance get the early morning game....

Re: Fall League
Central answered the bell... beat Lawrence in a good game...rested for a few minutes then put a hurting on Pembroke, 68-39, welcome to D1.
As I have said, Central will lose this year but they look pretty good as defending champs.

Re: Fall League
A surprise? Not sure, but a pretty serious stomping. Analysis? What were the keys? Central played D? That's not a surprise. Central ran? Central shot the ball well from the perimeter? Pembroke didn't play D? Pejojo, what gives. Throw me a bone, here.

Re: Fall League
Central still warm from the Lawrence game came out hot and shot the lights out. Hit fourteen 3 point field goals, more 3's than the ten 2 point field goals they made. Pembroke only hit four 3's. Three from Timbas and one from Taylor.

Re: Fall League
Hahahaha, too funny Bert54the1..here's the bone...saw Central play Lawrence, game very balanced as they are similar...strong guards and can shoot the three...Lawrence PG kept them in it really, getting in the paint at will...Central just had too much at the end for them...impressed with Lawrence though, short bench, played every possession hard, talked great on D...
Now the Pembroke game...got called during the warm-up for work and had to leave to Portsmouth, hahaha too funny...my wife filled me in with texts and I couldn't hardly believe the texts, 41-14 at one point...she was telling me we shot lights out...our 2 guard Jonathin was infuego...I kinda thought Central could at least play or even beat Pembroke because of Central's guard play...Pembroke is decent at the 1, 2 but not as good, and you can have all the height you want if your guards can't get them ball ? I had seen Pembroke several times and they just don't seem very intense, from the outside...maybe they are, just my opinion...I am excited to see how the regular season plays out...
