Any thoughts on Keene and Goffstown sitting their starters for the entire game Saturday? I don't like it, but I can understand it.

This was the week for both teams to have a bye. This was not the crossover game scheduled by the NHIAA. Why not take the bye week and just play your JV game on Monday?

If I was to schedule a game it would be to go out and try and win.

We will not have to worry about this next year.

It's not the first time it's happened... A few years ago Merrimack and North did something similar. I understand the coaches viewpoint on this especially considering each team should contend for a playoff spot this year. Still I wish we could have seen the QB match-up - I think it would have been a very entertaining game. Bumper is right though - won't happen next year. And even if the NHIAA ever goes back to a format where bye weeks could exist, they should dictate that non division games count in the standings. How SO games can could in other sports, but not in football is very odd.

Must be hard not to play as a player too. Saturday afternoon on the football field and you can't play. Weird situation.

The list is long, but here's one of my pet peeves with the NHIAA: I know the "SO" (Scheduled only) games don't count in the standings, but WHY IN THE WORLD CAN"T THEY AT LEAST POST THE SCORES!!!

OK, now I feel better....
