Keene State upsets #1 D3 team in the country
Here's a link to an article about the game. http://keeneowls.com/sports/mbkb/2011-12/releases/20120131owitgg Sounds like the few NH products on the team had solid contributions.

Moved this to HS/Amateur section only because it's a game story and these kids are still amateurs.
On to the game - I was watching the tweets on this one all night. This is a huge win for my alma-mater in the DIII scene. KSC has been a staple in the Little East Conference since moving down to DIII in the late 90's and this is just another big win for a program that consistently takes in-state talent and competes at a high level.
Farily bittersweet for me as well as I grew up 10 minutes from Middlebury College and have seen that program go through a lot of lows in my teen years following the team. Interesting looking at their roster not one player hails from Vermont. Middlebury came into this game 18-0 but left suffering their first loss. T
For my Owls, it appears this years team is built fairly differently than many in the past, only shooting 11 three's is not typical of their squads. They did well spreading the ball around with 4 players in double figures. NH Natives Ollie Hunter (BG) had 11 and 6 rebounds, John Boyatsis (Dover) 3 points in 8 minutes and Nicco DeMasco pitched in 8 in 27 minutes.
Nice win for KSC who now sit at 15-4 and 8-1 in the Little East. I see a DIII tourney berth in their future after this win. I think they earned an at-large if they can finish their season strong no matter what happens in the LEC tourney. There's a good chance KSC will move into the top 25...

The Assistant forgot to include Nicco DeMasco's school. He went to Monadnock.
