500th Career Win

Just heard from a buddy of mine up north, Coach Bob Burns, Kennett High School in Conway won his 500th game today. Extra innings, 8-7 against St. Thomas. Burns has the most wins in New Hampshire, for active or retired coaches.

Nice! Way cool... Congrats to him! Now this is why these blogs are great! They inform other parts of the state of accomplishments that no one would find out about because our local papers only care about putting gobs of national sports stories that one can read from just about anywhere else. The telegraph is still wasting space putting in the summaries from all the games in the NBA and NHL playoffs.

Yea I love how the Telegraph and UL put in information a day late and a dollar short every one already knows about from their cable packages, computers and cutting edge phones. The newspapers will never get it and will become like T-Rex and his counter parts as they once ruled the earth, but are no where to be found except in a Steven Spielberg film.
