Almost Saw a Hoosiers Moment today

I almost saw a Hoosiers type moment today in the JV game of the Concord vs BG JV game. With about a minute left in the game during a dead ball a player from Concord landed a nice uppercut on a BG player that was not seen by the referees but was noticed by the Coaches for Concord. The assistant told the head coach and the head coach looked to sub in and realized he had only 7 rostered JV players, one had already fouled out and the other had taken a finger to the eye and was icing his eye. So with no subs to sub in I almost thought the coach for COncord was going to pull his JV player and play with 4... after a quick thought he left the kid in but I was almost sure we were going to see the moment of... My teams on the floor like in the Hoosiers first game. As a coach it would have been a nice point to make with the player to yank him and play with four. I know I would have.

I was doing a girl's JV game a month ago and one coach got caught coming out of a TO with a player getting taped that didn't make it on the floor in time. It was 4 vs 5. The team with 4 was up by 20 plus. I'm thinking the coach will get a sub to the table immediately, but he didn't. It was 4 v 5 for at least a minute. The team with 4 outscored the team with 5 two to nothing in that minute. It was a strange minute of play.
