Rotary Game Empty Rotary Twin State Basketball Classic

Post  Benchwarmer Wed Mar 24, 2010 10:15 am

Selection of the New Hampshire Team for the Merchants Bank - Rotary Twin State Basketball Classic will be very difficult due to the outstanding basketball talent in the Class of 2010. It is strongly recommended that all players interested in being selected for the team attend a workout this Sunday 3:00-5:00 at Central High School (Manchester). Please use entrance at back of gym corner of Lowell and Maple and go upstairs to gym.

Also, it is very important for you to notify via email Coach EJ Perry (kperry255@msn.com) or Coach Nate Camp (ncamp@kearsarge.net) as quickly as possible of your interest or lack thereof, of making the team.

Please be aware that playing college basketball next season does NOT make anyone ineligible for the Twin State Basketball Classic and that the team does not practice or play until afer the completion of the high school spring sport season.

Rotary Game Empty selection

But the "open" try out is only for select students....correct? Not any senior can show up, that is how it was explained to me two years ago.

If I recall, Vermont had a big team that pounded NH on the glass last year. Chevy had a good game for NH, but didn't have too much NH support on the glass. If I was picking the team I would make sure NH was fortified with some active Bigs on the roster.

One Zach Mathieu should do the trick.

Rotary Game Empty 2008

The same thing happened in 2008. NH had a team of shooting guards.

It would be nice to have Mathieu if he isn't doing baseball related activities like being drafted by a major league club and enticed by a signing bonus, etc.
