Feb 4th Games
Lebanon is the most well rounded team in Division 2 hands down. They have a very deep, nine man rotation, unlike any other team in the division. Lebanon visits Pembroke on Tuesday in what should be the game of the year in D2. Does anyone else have any thoughts on the Lebanon vs. Pembroke matchup?

Re: Feb 4th Games
Memorial @ Keene: This one could get ugly fast. Memorial.
Londonderry @ North: Stays close for a half, but the better team wins out. Londonderry.
Merrimack @ Winnacunnet: Stays within 10, but Winny has no match for Gendron. Merrimack.
Alvirne @ South: Alvirne quickly fading away and South gets back on track. South.
Dover @ Timberlane: The streak ends. Timby.
Concord @ Bedford: Bedford is making a run. Bedford.
Spaulding @ Exeter: Start of the year I would have said Exeter, but right now I'm off the Exeter train. Spaulding.
Pinkerton @ Central: Pinkerton gets exposed for the one-trick pony they are. Central.
Londonderry @ North: Stays close for a half, but the better team wins out. Londonderry.

Pinkerton was without Rosinski Friday night. Think I read he is out indefinitely. Tough loss there.

Re: Feb 4th Games
hence the one trick pony reference...Rosinski is good, but the absence of one player shouldn't lead to a 40 point gap...even if he played, with that type of scoring difference, I can't see the gap being closed by more than 15 or so points.
I also read he's out for an extended period with mono - definitely a tough break...hopefully he recovers quickly and is able to get back out there for the stretch run...if so maybe he will get to play the next time they meet in a couple of weeks (according to the schedule discussion in another thread) and we will be able to see what kind of impact he can make.

re: Feb 4 Games
Just when you were starting to think it just might be on it's way out........Mother nature wants to whack us in the mouth again, Snow coming with the potential for a lot, Get out tonight and enjoy a local high school game or.............................go to dinner at 3Buoy's.....Tonight's action.....................................
MEMORIAL vs. KEENE, Could see our first 100+ game of this D1 season if everyone travels for Memorial it could be hard not to, I think Quirk will put the boot's to a Keene program that might have to wait till last game of season for a potential build up to "Next year" for possible win, Memorial in a long ride and a Yawner.......MEMORIAL W.
LONDONDERRY vs. NASHUA NORTH : North caught a "too many day's off" Concord napping the other night, Londonderry beat up on a Rozlinskiless Pinky, Londonderry the better overall team here and should control game start to finish, North not enough weapons, Londonderry has quite a few.........................LONDONDERRY W.
MERRIMACK vs. WINNACUNNET: Merri has established itself as a top elite team to this point. Winny playing tough and hanging in there, Bad match up for Winny, no answer for Gendron or Bourque in this one, Bourque could have his way down low all night, Winny at home and will keep it close for a while, Merri could be ripe for a let down and they travel, all this makes it "GAME - O - NIGHT". Merri the better well rounded team and should take care of bussiness, tough stretch for Winny.............MERRIMACK W.
ALVIRNE vs. NASHUA SOUTH; South got caught in a very bad match up the other night for their style of play and paid dearly. This is the type of match up that suits their play and Alvirne Has run out of bullets and is sinking fast, this should be a route and believe it will be at home for South....................................NASHUA SOUTH W.
CONCORD vs. BEDFORD : Bedford big win at home against respectable south squad and start a long run of easier schedule, could win out, Concord in trouble here as they dropped one they should of had to north and now face a much better than record suggests Bedford, Bedford starts to pick up steam..........BEDFORD W.
DOVER vs. TIMBERLANE: Measuring stick game for Timberland !, They have a fighter's chance here at home and with the faithful behind them with a very weak Dover team coming in, Dover playing better of late and just don't see Romp's being the "one", Romp's will have his boy's ready and Timby will be in it,BUT...DOVER W.
SPAULDING vs. EXETER : Spaulding running out of gas a bit against equally matched team's, Cronin or no Cronin, Exeter faces 3rd game in a row without starting point guard and have looked disorientated with out him, Exeter better skilled and deeper and should squeak it out at home, Spaulding not same in road games...EXETER W.
PINKERTON vs. CENTRAL: Where Bedford could run table, Pinky could arguably lose out with out coaches son and best player, YES, one player does make a huge difference when EVERYTHING they do, run, defend, evolves around said player and you don't have much else in the tank. with that said even if Rozlinski had sextuplets he ain't beating this Central team............GAME OVER after 1...............................................................................................................................................CENTRAL W.
see you on the hardwood.....................................................................

Re: Feb 4th Games
Got to give some to girl's basketball. Londonderry beat North 51 - 38. The Lady Lancers are unfortunately without the services of POY candidate Aliza Simpson. She has a hairline fracture in her knee cap. She's hoping to come back by late Feb in time for the playoff push. Lond was impressive tonight and firing on all cylinders. The silver lining to the Simpson cloud is hopefully other players, not named Simpson, will grow and mature in the limelight and give Londonderry some scoring depth in the playoffs. Freshman Kelsey Coffey had a very good game spotting up for some 3's. Casey Evans Driscoll was a force all night against the under sized Lady Titans.
Mack boys got a Big W over Winny.
Pemby won the bounce back game with Lebanon.
Central doubled up the reeling Astros.
South squeaks by Alvirne.
Bedford won ugly over Concord.
Memorial scored a bunch in their win over Keene.
My Lancers vanquished the Titans....... Hellloooooooooooo Tulliver........... You were pretty silent tonight

Re: Feb 4th Games
When was the last time you saw a team get shut out from the field? When Timberlane girls scored 3 points vs Pinky they had 1 field goal & 1 FT. Last night the H/Deering girl's varsity team scored 3 points..... All from the FT line according to the Concord Monitor:
BOW 36, HILLSBORO-DEERING 3
The Falcons (11-3) soared passed a shorthanded H-D (1-13) team.
Ashlie Tucker led Bow with 13 points, four steals and three rebounds. Sam Lulka added 10 points and three rebounds, freshman Abbey Horner had a solid game with four points, four rebounds and one steal, while older sister Maddie had three points, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
H-D struggled, making three free throws for its only points.
