Dover hosts 9-1 Spaulding tonight in Ollie Adams Gym at Dover High starting at 7:00. Huge game for the Greenwave who are looking for a big win against a big time rival. Could be a game Dover can steal from Spaulding since they are at home in a tough atmosphere and they will be amped up for one of the best rivalries in NH.

If you can't attend, which I highly suggest since the atmosphere will be Lundholm-like, Justin McIsaac will be broadcasting a great play-by-play on WTSN AM1270. Also, Dover student-body twitter account @Tsunami_DHS usually does a pretty good job during big games with updates.

If tonights game is anything like the Dover-Spaulding hockey game last night in Rochester, it is well worth the drive to Dover. Great rivalry, great atmosphere and always a great game.

Another great game in Dover as Dover/Spaulding are tied 25-25! Carter Moore scores all 7 of his points in the 2nd quarter to guide a 10-0 Dover run. Both teams getting up and down the floor, but relatively sloppy with many travel calls being issued to both teams.

Dominic Paradis leads scorers with 12 points.
Josh Cote leads Dover with 9 points.

At the end of 3 qtrs. Spaulding leads Dover 46-43 on a hail-mary buzzer beater. Lundholm-like feel to this game tonight in my opinion

I just heard that call. Justin nearly blew out the speakers on my computer with the call of the made 3 to end the 3rd for the Red Raiders.

They are experiencing technical difficulties with the power outages. This is frustrating. Hearing rehashed 1980s music instead of Justin just isn't cutting it for me !!! Evil or Very Mad

Great effort by the Dover boys basketball team. Hang tough with a very good Spaulding team. The whole game you could tell whoever had the ball last would win the game and that proved to be the case. Watch out for Dover in the playoffs, they have come to play in big games and will be a team no one will want to play come March.

Yes, Dover will be a team, NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY, come playoff time.

Spaulding wins another big game on the road. I would love to know Spaulding's record on the road against teams with a .500 record or better the last 3 years. If not the best team with big road victories, they would certainly be in the Top 3.

Paradis finished with 31 points as he firmly places his name into the ring of discussion for POY.

What a game- Spaulding threatened to pull away in the first half, before Dover went on a 10-0 run to go up 5. Spaulding then went on a 10-0 run of their own to get up 5 in the 3rd.

Dominick Paradis was dominate (The DOMinator? Do I smell a nickname?) at times, and Josh Cote was equally on fire for the Greenwave in the 2nd half. You hear that cliche "It's too bad somebody had to lose" all the time, but it really applies here.

Fantastic fan support on both sides, with the gym being 3/4ths filled at halftime of the JV game. And, T&F, you KNOW it's a big game when refs from around the state are there just to watch!

I hope this game gets a playoff encore. We'll have both teams on next week, Spaulding vs Central on Tuesday, and Dover vs Winni on Friday.
